Dannii's K12, K-14 and K-20 REAPER theme
Click here to see what's new in this release.
NOTE!!
These themes have been designed using REAPER V4 which is still in alpha testing
(alpha 42 as of Thursday 20th Feb 2011)
and functions may change during the development cycle.
For the latest builds and updates on these themes, visit the discussion on the REAPER forum HERE
Installation instructions:
Extract the contents of the zip file to your hard drive first.
(you've probably already done that if you're reading this)
Don't just double click the zip file, it needs to be extracted!!
Launch REAPER and drag and drop (ONE AT A TIME) the following files onto it:
Dannii-NoK-b8.ReaperThemeZip
(this is the basic version for those who don't use the K-System)
Dannii-K12-b8.ReaperThemeZip
Dannii-K14-b8.ReaperThemeZip
Dannii-K20-b8.ReaperThemeZip
(these are the full versions for those who wish to use the K-System fully calibrated)
See calibration instructions HERE
(Mac users, I'm not on a Mac so if anyone wants to add their input, please do so on the theme page for this theme on the REAPER forum HERE.)

Segoe and MyriadPro fonts have been used in this theme.
If you do not have them on your system, open the fonts folder included in this download and drag the contents to your c:\windows\fonts folder.
They should install automatically.
These fonts should already be present on Windows 7.
I haven't tested this on Mac OSX but there's documentation of Mac font locations HERE

For an in depth discussion of why you might want to use the K-System and why the level is fixed and the meter primary focus is RMS and NOT peak,
check out the following online resources.
Bob Katz' website
(straight from the horses mouth, so to speak).
These themes should now match the included screen shot below (K14 version shown here).

!! NOTE !!
If the master meter scale looks wrong and the numbers don't line up, make sure you have the master meter display offset set to match the theme.
If it still looks wrong, double check your "Preferences-> Appearance-> VU Meters" against the screen shot in step 3 above.
